Greetings friends and fiends! I'm leaving at 3 am tomorrow morning to catch the earliest flight I've ever been on. For 3 weeks I'll be on the most exciting vacation I've ever been on as I travel the northern coast of New England. I'm a bit of a lighthouse junkie. There's just something about the history, majesty and beauty of them that draws me. Surprisingly, I have never seen one up close, let alone been in one. And yes, I most definitely will be writing a haunted lighthouse story when I get back. I also happen to love, love, LOVE seafood (most seafood anyway), so I won't starve during this trip. lol Whatever y'all are doing with the rest of your summer, I hope you make the most of it!

Lizzy Borden Bed and Breakfast in Fall River, Mass. I spent an uneventful night there, but it was still pretty cool. Had the whole house to myself.
